 These two artists from Italy, the brothers Cristiano and Patrizio Alviti, interpret the traditions of the classical Roman school in their own way. Illusions depicts a city panorama, and in the background the silhouettes of two people are seen. Into the ensemble of combinations of yellow, red and orange, some Italian words, which can be interpreted as an extract from the diary, is integrated. Personal impressions, the search for eternal beauty—these are the sources of inspiration for the artists. The combination of vital painting and verbal comments in the context of the favourite colours of the Romans creates an unexpected mood in a piece of art based on reminiscences and experiences. |
